The Daegu City Boys and Girls Choir was organized by Daegu Metropolitan City on May 1, 1981, as a municipal art organization tasked with fostering local culture and the arts among Daegu’s youths and providing children and youths with more opportunities to appreciate culture and the arts.
The Daegu City Boys and Girls Choir was organized by Daegu Metropolitan City on May 1, 1981, as a municipal art organization tasked with fostering local culture and the arts among Daegu’s youths and providing children and youths with more opportunities to appreciate culture and the arts.The choir works hard to promote Korean culture and arts around the world and makes significant contributions to the growth and development of youth culture and arts by attending and performing in various events, including the World Vision International Children’s Choir Festival, a New York concert tour to promote the World Cup match in Daegu (at LeFrak Concert Hall in New York), the Korea/Japan Youth Exchange Concert (Saga Prefectural Art Center, Japan), and the Vienna Boys Choir Joint Concert.
