JANGGU CLASS
The Daegu Arts Center near Duryu Park will start offering traditional Korean instrument lessons for novices. City residents of all ages foreigners are welcome to join us. Some experience with beating drum would be beneficial, but is not required. The class will take place at the rehearsal building Ⅱ on wednseday evenings and continue for 12 weeks.
Taking JungGu classes is a fun and relaxing way to enjoy Korean culture. JungGu is a traditional Korean instrument still used frequently today, so it feels good to be apart of the culture in that way. You can learne a lot of rhythms on the drum, and the classes are easy and laid back. Our teacher is great! He's a true pro at the drum.
The fees are so reasonable that you couldn’t imagine and it’s totally worth it. 30,000KRW fee is due before the first class to cover the cost of materials. In just a short time, you will be an expert with help of our qualified instructors.
