The Daegu Arts Center (DAC), which opened its doors in 1990, is a testament to Daegu’s vibrant cultural life as well as a multipurpose facility and hub for the arts in our beautiful city that has long been beloved by locals.
It underwent a renewal with the launch of the Daegu Foundation for Culture & Arts in 2022, aiming to become a space where people from all walks of life can enjoy diverse genres of cultural content.

The DAC hopes to serve as not only a symbol of this city’s cultural and artistic traditions but also a partner for artists and creators that helps them grow. Through collaborations and exchanges, we will also be doing our utmost to improve the visibility of local cultural assets.
We hope to enrich local residents’ quality of life through frequent encounters with cultural and artistic pursuits.

The Daegu Arts Center will work with all citizens to create an environment for a happy life where everyone can enjoy, participate, and share through culture and the arts.
